  • The short-length probe pin structure (total length 1.5 mm) realizes good high-frequency characteristics.
  • Ideal for high-speed transmission and low-voltage products

This socket is a high frequency capsule contact socket. By taking a large stroke amount, the vertical error of the test equipment is absorbed and more stable contact is realized, and at the same time, good insertion loss (insertion loss value: 30GHz @ S21 -1dB) due to the short and long pins, and good. The feature is that a good return loss (30GHz @ S11 -10dB) can be obtained.

It is possible to measure 30GHz signals that could not be measured with conventional products.

Due to the above two features, this product realizes good high frequency characteristics and high speed transmission.
Please use this product if you are looking for a contact socket that can handle high frequencies.

* Insertion loss … Also called “insertion loss”, it represents contact resistance. At high frequencies, signal loss occurs between the contacts when the contacts are closed, and the degree of this signal loss is called insertion loss, and dB (decibel) is used. The smaller the value of insertion loss, the smaller the loss and the better the characteristics.

* Return loss … Also called “return loss”. At electrical discontinuities where impedance matching is not possible, high frequency signals are reflected and the signals are lost. The return loss is the ratio of the transmitted wave to the reflected wave expressed in dB (decibel).
